osha-job-safety-and-health-posterIn support of the US Department of Labor’s efforts to foster and promote the welfare of workers, CHS developed and tested a training curriculum to provide health and safety training for employed English- and Spanish-speaking food industry workers with low literacy and numeracy skills. Training focused on reducing the incidence of illness and injury and provided information to help workers understand their job safety and health rights and the regulations and standards of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The curriculum, in English and Spanish, is available on the OSHA website.
