CHS Partners with Univision for Children's Event

CHS recently partnered with Univision, the leading media company serving Hispanic Americans in the U.S., to host a children's event.

The event celebrated Three Kings Day (El Día de los Reyes Magos), also known as the Epiphany, which commemorates the day, Christians believe, when The Three Wise Men delivered gifts of frankincense, myrrh, and gold to the baby Jesus.

Southern New Jersey families attended the event at CHS's Bridgeton office, where children received donated gifts and posed for photos with community volunteers portraying The Three Kings.

CHS has provided services to underserved populations in southern New Jersey since 1988. Services include civic education, English literacy instruction, adult basic skills training; diabetes management, case management and referral for women living with HIV/AIDS, and vocational rehabilitation for migrant and seasonal farmworkers with disabilities.
